Hello Cougar Families and Happy Sunday,

As we look to our last week of the first semester, we want to thank you. We are grateful for our tremendous school community. Without your support, long standing EHS traditions such as Moot Court and Madrigal Faire would not be possible. We are proud of all of our students’ accomplishments. Thank you for the opportunity to serve this community and our students every day.

After weeks of preparation, students in Mr. Mott’s and Mr. Harrison’s Government classes competed in Moot Court. Students conducted extensive research on contemporary issues. Last week, teams of two presented their arguments to an audience of peers before responding to questions from a panel of judges.

Evergreen Theatre students closed out the last week before finals in competition at the 2019 Annual ThesCon. Our wonderful theatre group competed in monologue, improv, duet scene, solo and duet musical events. We are so proud of them!

We hope everybody had a wonderful weekend,

Important Announcements

Coach Evaluation SurveyThe EHS Athletic Department will be sending out an end of season coach survey to all players and parents that participated in fall sports the week of 12/16.  It was originally intended to go out this past week, but our software provider was backed up and we didn’t get it in time to send out to everyone this week.  We will use this data to give feedback to our coaching staff and provide opportunities to continue what is going well and improve areas where we can grow!  We are excited about this 360 degree feedback opportunity. We are encouraging each and every student athlete and parent that was involved in a fall sport to participate in this survey.

Volunteerism:  Stop by and say hello to our EHS Cougar Baseball players at Safeway and King Soopers, Saturday, 12/21, as they will be Ringing Bells for the Salvation Army in this season of giving.
