Here is your College & Career Blast for this week.

Career Lunches Coming Up Next Week:

3/19 – Learn about the NROTC Scholarship from Sargent Morelli in College & Career during both lunches.

3/22 – Careers as a Pilot, US Air Force and Private Jet pilot – Julie Kling will be here. You will certainly go away from this career lunch with a lot of knowledge about aviation.


Senior Scholarships:  Each year EHS proudly recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of our graduating seniors by collecting scholarship award offer letters. Both accepted and declined. The monetary total is presented at both Senior Academic Awards Ceremony and Graduation.    Please have your senior submit ALL scholarship award offer letters that come from a prospective school to Michelle Yeager no later than Monday, April 29 by 2:30pm. Please indicate clearly whether the offer is accepted or declined. Accepted scholarships will be printed in the Senior Academic Awards Program. 

CU bound Seniors! 
For all admitted students - Admitted Student Day will take place on Saturday, April 6th.  This is the only day in which all residence halls are open to tour. Can’t make it to Admitted Student Day, attend another Be Boulder for a Day event offered on March 22nd, April 15th and April 19

The Denver Foundation – is available to current high school seniors.  Scholarships vary in amounts.  There are 2-year or 4-year Institution scholarships as well as Vocational/Technical School scholarships. Find out more at  New this year to the list of Foundation scholarships is the Colorado Press Association Scholarship available to students who have demonstrated commitment to the field of print and online journalism.  The deadline is March 22. 

Columbine Memorial Scholarship - aimed to support students who have made a positive impact in their school/community.

Colleges That Change Lives offers CTCL Scholarships of $1,000 per year, renewable up to 4 years will be awarded to new first-year students who attend a CTCL-member college or university.  Deadline March 22nd.


The College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver has created a summer camp for high school students called Architecture in the City. The dates are June 3rd to the 14th. Students will get the opportunity to explore architecture and related fields in the studio environment through drawing and model building. Please visit their website for more information.

The University of Wyoming is offering 2019 Engineering Summer Program for current high school juniors.  Deadline is March 25th.

in Colorado.  This day is a big event for rising seniors that wish to attend any military academy and later serve as an officer in the respective branch of the military. You’ll learn about the admissions process and nomination requirements. Service Academy Day is April 13th  at Denver South High School. Information can be found in front of College & Career.

- A leadership training camp for any High School Sophomore or Junior sponsored by Rotary International.  All expense paid 5 day conference July 14-July 19 OR July 21-July26 in Estes Park, CO.   Application deadline determined by each Rotary Club, around April 30  Appoly

Denver STEM College & Career Fair 
- June 8th from 1 to 4 pm at Colorado School of Mines, Lockridge Arena 1651 Elm St. Golden, Co 80401.  Mark your calendar!
