Many colleges and universities host summer for credit/non-credit programs for high school students.  If you are interested in this type of opportunity, do a Naviance career or major search and then check out the college's home page to learn about possible summer programs offered.  If you would like assistance with your search, Ms. Yeager in College and Career would be more than happy to help.

Summer High School at Georgetown University:  We invite students to join us for an exciting hands-on summer experience at Georgetown University. Summer High School Medical Programs offer a variety of ways for students to pursue their interests while getting a head start on college. With topics ranging from human anatomy and infectious diseases to chemistry and forensic science, our programs immerse students in the fascinating world of science and medicine while giving them a preview of college life.

Boys State & Girls State deadlines are approaching.  Participation weeks are in June at different college campuses.  This is a great opportunity for high school students to learn leadership skills and demonstrate action-based learning of the governmental process.  A great way to build professional networks as well. The CU Department of Bioengineering is hosting an open house at our location on the Anschutz Medical Campus for prospective students, families, and interested teachers/advisors to learn more about our program on Friday, March 2nd, 2018. RSVP

The Westminster Youth Advisory Panel is sponsoring a two-day Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Summit for high school students February 23-24. This is an opportunity to learn about community engagement, diversity, leadership, and hone community skills. Foothills Park & Recreation District is holding a JOB FAIR – Sunday, February 24 from 11 am to 2 pm at 6612 S. Ward Street, Littleton. Seasonal and youth jobs at the Peak Community & Wellness Center are available and throughout Foothills Park & Rec.   Meet with the recreation staff members, and learn about the various job opportunities available now and this summer.

CU Denver - LYNX National Arts & Media Camps -  Has a great summer program for students wanting to learn the fundamentals of photography, 2D/Illustration, Audio Production, Electronics, 3D printing, Filmmaking and Digital Animation/Motion Graphics.  Most one-week camps run during the summer in June and July.
